he Queen’s Arms is ideally located for visitors wishing to enjoy a day’s racing at nearby Newbury racecourse and the inn’s proximity to the M4 makes it a great place to stop off en route to or on the return from Cheltenham.

Numerous historic towns are situated within a short drive of the inn such as Hungerford, Wantage and Marlborough as is the famous White Horse (prehistoric hill figure) at Uffington. Oxford, with its dreaming spires, and Blenheim Palace are within an hour’s drive of the inn.

Other attractions include the annual Lambourn Open Day held on Good Friday when local trainers open up their yards for the visiting public. The Queen’s Arms has good relationships with a number of leading racehorse trainers and visits to yards can be arranged on request.
